About Tom Stevenson, Jr.

Bio:

Tom Stevenson has extensive business management & consulting experience, especially in the area of helping organizations turn unprofitable situations into profit-driven entities.  He utilizes his ability to plan, implement and reorganizate to lead improvement projects.  He has also served as an agent of change, leading such improvement efforts.  He also has significant expertise in process improvement, operations, strategic planning and financial areas.

Tom has an MBA in Entrepreneurship, a BS in Engineering, and he possesses an excellent set of skills to handle the complexities of improvement projects.  He combines his broad business background and significant experience in the core business areas with his extensive analytical experience and background in engineering & technology to significantly improve operations.  He can quickly make sense of complex situations and develop detailed improvement plans that lead to great successes in turn-around projects.  His excellent  people and communication skills help him communicate and sell the needed changes.  He has an established  track record of success in improvement projects.

His early career was as an engineer with Boeing and Allied Signal.  Tom started his first business (Stevenson Catalina, Inc.) in 1989.  He focussed on engineering consulting, R&D, and new product development projects. In the early 1990s, the services of Software Development were added under the business name of Pusch Ridge Software for clients throughout the southwestern U.S.  In 1996, he added business management consulting services.  In 2002, Tom decided to focus on helping organizations with difficult business management challenges, mostly one project at a time, including complex turn-around based projects.  Since then he has continued to work in the area of business management, improvement and turn-around projects.  He has helped a variety of organizations deal with challenging business management situations by utilizing his proven leadership, analytical, operational, financial and people skills.
